In poetry, rumination on 20090331 at 16:39

《at least once》
I am a genius and a fool,

brilliantly resilient,

that is strong,
never rigid.

Even the big worm does not tempt a fish with purpose.

The traveler brings clarity home.

Travel allows one to know more clearly the meaning of home, by questioning it.

Why plant a seed, if only to let it thirst?

The truth stands where’er a fool lies.

In aphorism, proverb on 20090327 at 16:04

A mountain is not without valleys, light not without darkness, proximity not without distance.

The valley is immersed in peaks, if just out of reach.

In aphorism, proverb on 20090326 at 16:12

A bruised apple cannot be saved but for cider.

Ruffled feathers are full of air.

That with luster lacking is lost only to its shine.

In aphorism, proverb on 20090325 at 09:18

Life is rich, yea, though the pocket has zilch.

In aphorism, proverb on 20090324 at 09:23

Though same may be the act, the wise admit what the fool hide.

In aphorism, proverb on 20090322 at 09:29

Chocolate is perhaps a filler, but alas not a substitute.

In aphorism, proverb on 20090314 at 12:09

The fly uses not its feet to fly.
