Fools will welcome your affection.
Most will tolerate your existence.
Few will question your truth.
The wise will accept your contradictions.

Be true to yourself, or be true to no one.

If you are untrue to even one, you are untrue to at least two — the other and yourself.

Knowing truth is knowing what it means to be alone.

Reality is not to scale.
Understanding is partial.
Perception is skewed.
Experience is biased.

Let everything without words say everything that words cannot say.

The silence of the many gives power to the voice the few.

Rushing water will slow.
Stagnant water will stir.

Ability, without acting on the ability, is perhaps a greater disability than to never have had the ability.

If another is in need, and I do not help -I have so wasted an opportunity to exercise my ability, and in doing so, I have given up my ability. I am without ability.

A few create the system.
Many perpetuate the system.
Some work the system.
Too few challenge the system.

History shapes us.
Culture enables us.
Humanity entitles us.
Choice defines us.

Save a few that go dormant, plants continue to grow until there is no more life left -sometimes in visible spurts of vertical growth, other times in invisible hardiness.

Sometimes it takes a storm to quench a flower’s thirst.

The physical blossoms when the emotional is nourished, not diseased.

Time has the patience of infinity.

A war of weapons is won with many; a war of words, with few.

If you build a wall around yourself, don’t forget to install a drain.

Words can change your view, but cannot change the facts.

What is not understood hovers subliminally in the background as a camouflaged backdrop; only those who understand are able to see it.

Who understands will see, who overlooks is blinded.

The wise oversee, the fool overlook.
