A bat will never see the light.

The fool has much desire to speak and offers little to say.

Until we make efforts for peace, we will make excuses for war.

The fool argue sides, the wise argue issues.

Who explains without end has yet begun to understand.

Who points a finger in blame has nary another point to offer.

One feels the need to look over one’s shoulder the rest of one’s life, if only a guilty conscience to find in follow.

Only conscience serves justice true.

《standing》
misunderstood, are we
when understanding, we
are not.

Different realities are a result of different perspectives.

True balance needs imbalance to maintain balance.

To breathe fresh air, one must leave the fire.

Without an outrage, a wrong is not a scandal.

Impatience is the supernatural disappointment of mortal expectations.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but Earth… was?

Who imagine forgiveness, realize peace. Who imagine revenge, realize war.

Imagine a society that accepts its responsibility to support each person as equally as it expects each person to respect its rule. Imagine if just one person supported a single other person, regardless of their imperfect past, embracing them for who they have the potential to be. Imagine a society that can forgive each other, that we may realize a future together.

To become independent is to be freed.

Independence is a form of freedom. Dependence is a form of captivity.

The independent must collaborate, the dependent must delegate.

The guilty act defensively, the guiltless need not act -they are defenseless.

Who is without guilt is without need for defense.

The fool argue a truth with a falsity.

Calling a piece of shit “a piece of shit” is not to be negative, it is to acknowledge truth, to refuse judgment.

To compliment where an insult is due is to refuse the truth.

Who deny the truth fool themselves.

Being me is the greatest challenge I could ever face -when I do that, everything else is a cinch. When I don’t, everything is a task.

The greatest deception, the greatest revelation -is of the self.

Ability, without acting on the ability, is perhaps a greater disability than to never have had the ability.

If another is in need, and I do not help -I have so wasted an opportunity to exercise my ability, and in doing so, I have given up my ability. I am without ability.

A few create the system.
Many perpetuate the system.
Some work the system.
Too few challenge the system.

History shapes us.
Culture enables us.
Humanity entitles us.
Choice defines us.

I am as much a product of my own choice as I am of genetics or environment.

The Strong have no more intention of tearing you down than do the Weak of building you up.

Do what you gotta do to be who you oughtta be.

A victim is snared in a trap that is set by himself.

In aphorism, proverb on 20111018 at 13:57

Love accepts you for all that you are (in spite of all that you are not) and challenges you to be all that you can be (in spite of all that you could be).

Apologies cannot be demanded, only accepted.

One need not beware to be aware.

The fool beware, the wise are aware.

To love freely is not enough; one must love truly.

In aphorism, linguistics, proverb on 20110730 at 09:40

Every artist needs an agent.

Language is spectacular for the reason that it doesn’t need to make sense in order for it to have meaning.

The fool continue to water the shriveled plant.

The fool close their eyes to deny the darkness of night, as delusional in the absence of light as the ostrich who invites the night by burying his head in the sand at midday.

A fool farmer asks the rooster not to crow.

The fool silence the siren, suppressing a response in a deluded effort to deny a disaster.

Freedom is sacrificed in the name of safety and security, which are victim only to pride and honor.

20110703

In aphorism, proverb on 20110704 at 10:20

The fool prematurely kills off the sickly plant that simply needed pruning, watering, and nurturing.

The fool sooner pulls a seedling than waters it, fearing it a weed and too impatient to find it a rose.

Prune the rose bush back to the ground, and watch her grow back stronger and more beautiful yet.

To avenge is to have mercy on; to ignore is to torture.

A mountain without a valley is but an elevated plain.

A mountain is born of its valley.

Remove choice from others and bear responsibility alone.

A single grain of sand weathers the beating of the entire ocean.

In aphorism, proverb on 20110511 at 12:33

One doesn’t need to love in order to be loved, nor does one need to be loved in order to love.
